Saturday July 11th saw Primal's Dino Gambetesa headline Ultimate Challenge UK against the tough Brad Wheeler in a lightweight bout. Coming off an impressive win against Wesley Murch at the last Ultimate Challenge event, Wheeler was looking to build on that performance and make a statement against Gambetesa, but in reality Gambetesa had way too much for Wheeler and the fight was short lived.

Rocking the new Primal RW premium MMA fight shorts, Gambetesa came out quickly and made short work of his opponent connecting with some quick punches that sent Wheeler to the canvas and Gambetesa followed up with some vicious ground and pound to force referee Grant Waterman to call a stop to the action before Wheeler took any further damage.

In other action Primal's Jake "Brutal" Bostwick took on Alex Reid in a UK1 rules bout for the middleweight title. Bostwick came out all guns blazing and looked to have Reid in trouble early in the first round, but got careless and took a powerful knee to the face which saw him counted out by the referee.
